I agree with Sandro. The level of incompetence with Melita is shocking. I’ve been with them 8 years and they mess up every time I alter my package and inexplicably cut my mobile off whenever I change something. For instance, last month I called to reduce my package and I get the invoice this month and they have INCREASED my package to the most expensive one they have and when I emailed them to say I actually reduced it and if they have been supplying me with that for the last three weeks, that’s their problem, they sent me a reply saying it was ‘roaming charges’! The invoice says I am getting 100mbps internet and XL HD Entertainment pack which €100 when I ordered 30mbps and XL TV totaling €46. They are charging me over €50 more and claiming it’s for roaming charges? Apparently you can accumulate roaming charges on a TV!!!! Oh yes and the response to my query with them was yes, to cut my mobile off! Then they sent anther email informing me that my query is ‘resolved’. What?! I would never recommend them to anyone and I am looking onto switching to Go. I am sick of Melita’s inability to service their customers adequately. They are a nightmare.

I am waiting for GO to bring the fiber optic cables near my place so I can cut out the one and only service I have with Melita and swap to a better company. Melita is a disaster with billing, every time with lots of mistakes and they still pretend to get paid for late payment interest rates 2 euro. This is the worst company on this island. Even when calling someone on fixed line i.e 27 the line keeps cutting every so much minutes to get paid for more calls. I will never suggest any one to deal with this company, they’re a disaster.
